PLENK2010 and the QEP

I fear that many of my students will have similar problems to the ones that I am having.  I never want my students to feel overwhelmed or left out.  I never want to spend half of my semester teaching students about concepts, applications, and theories dealing with technology rather than the subject matter of my course.  I never want a student to miss assignments due to technological glitches, and I hate being in a position where a student is lying to me about technological ... I have been engaging in an online, collectivist learning experience called PLENK 2010.  A PLE is a Personal Learning Environment.  A PLN is a Personal Learning Network.  Part of the philosophy is that we search around in various formats and sites, reading papers, blogs, threads, etc., and we take information and "repurpose it" or synthesis it.  So here are some of my thoughts after the first week.
