Okay, I Think We've Got the Confusion Part...
From my (George) experience, the process of learning is one that walks through corridors of confusion. To learn is to step into unsettled spaces to encounter new concepts we don't yet understand. And once there, we begin to connect new to known. It's a process built on personal experiences and existing understanding. For some reason, we often view the experience of being unsettled as a negative. Yet our effort to become more settled is where we begin to connect concepts and, well, learn. In this post, Adrian states "The Connectivism & Connective Knowledge course could be characterized as a system precariously balanced on the edge of chaos, teetering on the edge of coherence."
